A little about me...

I have worked as a professional writer/editor and as a criminal investigator, as well as other jobs too tedious or weird to mention here.

Southeastern Kansas is my birthplace. While I miss fresh-from-the-farm tomatoes and peaches, country dances, and my relatives, I now call the beautiful Pacific Northwest home.

When I'm not working on a screenplay, a novel, or on a contract job, I kayak with friends like Sue and Mandy here...

I hike in the summer...

snowshoe or cross-country ski in the winter...

and occasionally trek to the tropics to play
with underwater friends.

My adventures, both real and fictional,
happen largely in the great outdoors.
It's a wild place!
